Yes, that glue can dry rather hard at times... I've had some and used it for edges in the past.

I’ve been looking at blanket options for Teen2’s blanket to take to uni next September. Thankfully she doesn’t want one like her sisters which was 49 squares, and I did my own design and colours using existing blanket blocks from different Debbie Abraham’s blankets. We seem to have settled on a colour fading Attic 24 neat ripple, which pleases me as it will be much quicker and easier! Trip to yarn shop incoming.

Hello everyone, remember me? Not sure if this post belongs here or with the declutterers, I might put it in both!

I had my yarn stash in 4 large lidded plastic boxes under the spare bed, and various other cupboards around the house. Last weekend, I got it all together in one place, bought a small cabinet for the spare bedroom, and whatever didn't fit into the cabinet went to the charity shop. "Watch and learn" I said to Mr Kath.

Bless him, he has started to shred some of his old work files, and I've given him 3 of the old plastic boxes for the stuff he needs to keep. The next day I had an attack of the realistics, and a further clearout of yarn I'm simply not going to use anytime soon.

Now it's just a question of working out which of the many works in progress gets finished first.

Dammit, forgot to say: there's some really nice work going on here. You're all so creative, I'm sometimes scared to go off-piste from a pattern.

I am struggling big time at the moment with my pattern. I have to do "double stitch" and can get my head around it. Pattern seems to be a very vague pattern- either that or I am just very tired.
