Well done both! I have finished a sock recently, but nothing else.

Ah, but I bet that sock had a gazillion stitches in it, probably more than my sweater!

I need to get more things finished. I want to do both a Moorland and a Dune Attic24 blanket (the Dune for my daughter) but am making myself finish the cardi for my sister (it was supposed to be for Christmas :-( ) and two pairs of socks that I am halfway through. My son wants a chick teacosy too...

Nope the sock had not very many stitches at all, I was avoiding finishing it because I don't like doing Kitchener stich toes.

I am doing top down socks now and am thinking of doing 3 needle bind off instead of kitchener. Plenty of people on rav seem to say that they use it and its fine. I think it's worth a try.

I've used three needle bind off for socks, but much prefer the appearance of kitchener.

I've never done a particularly good job with my toes on socks. One of these days I'll figure out how to do it better!!
