That sounds good...if you could give dimensions along with that, it would help to replicate the scale/proportions of it.

I hate picking up stitches. It's one of my criteria for choosing patterns.

I avoid knitting anything with buttons. I can pick up stitches but it all depends on how awkward they are.

In 2014 there was a proliferation of knitted bunting in Yorkshire for the Tour de France. With the world champs coming in September here's a pattern for some rainbow jersey bunting.
I'll be making some, I've found enough to do a trial one or two, though I haven't really got a red enough red!

I'm probably going to make some more bunting for VLM Fetchpoint for next year. We didn't have nearly enough this year...as we weren't using balloons, so we weren't quite so prominent as in previous years. On the plus side, kids didn't want to steal the bunting...one cheeky lady borrowed our scissors to cut a couple of our balloons down for her kids a couple of years ago.

I may have some suitable triangles left from my wedding bunting, I'll have a look through.

Lovely! I'm on the second sleeve of that very same cardi but mine won't be quite as neatly made as yours...

Very nice :-)

I've now finished the one I was just starting at our meetup: ravelry.com

I'm really pleased with the result but didn't much enjoy wrangling 5 balls of yarn for the whole sweater.
