Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thank you for looking HellsBells. I have found patterns for memory bears on Pinterest. You are supposed to make them out of old babygrows etc. I think it'd work for hi viz vests though.

Help please!

I'm making this hat: ravelry.com in the 12-18 months size (Squeak has a little head). I have 102 stitches. It says to decrease by 8 stitches, evenly spaced, and end up with 88 stitches. That clearly is impossible! So, do I decrease by 8 to 94 or decrease by 14 to get to the 88? Gah!

I've been having a clear out recently and have three sewing patterns which I'd love to post to anyone interested.

Simplicity 1557 - a costume for Merida from Brave. Ages 7-14, unused.
Vogue 7707 - six variations of footwear for infants up to 9 months. I made one of these but the rest are unused. (Search Vogue 7707 baby for pictures of this.)
New Look 6202 - a girl's dress with a simple bodice and flared skirt for ages 3-8. Unused.

Fmail me if you'd like any of these. I hate throwing things away!

I took some patterns to the charity shop. They were one thing I struggled to get rid of, but I figured I'd be very unlikely to make them again. Some I made as a teenager. I even found the batwing jacket I made and wore to a wedding. It was huge! :-o

Charity shop is on the list if no-one here wants them.

I loved a batwing top which I made when I was a teenager! And there was a McCalls shirt pattern I used many, many times as a student, not to mention the "exact jeans fit of Calvin Klein" jeans pattern which I used to make (black) jeans in the days when such things weren't available to anyone over a size 14.
