I've been better the last few nights. Not in length or quality of sleep but no distressing dreams. I have done a Zoom PT session every day this week so maybe that is the way I need to go! I do enjoy them and we have a bit of banter as well so as long as my ageing body is fine with it I'll keep going.
I sleep better when I've seen the kinesiologist and subsequently she had helped me trust myself a bit more and I've been able to learn to run etc, I have booked into another appointment next week as I feel like I've started to slip again and so I think she will help me to sort myself out, I did my week 6 session 3 today and we did nearly 5km a parkrun! I am so chuffed at my progress and my body shape is changing and I think all of this will aid my sleep eventually as its all positive.
Well done on the nearly parkrun! I have all but given up on running at the moment but really enjoying my Zoom PT sessions. My gym is constantly adapting and changing to best serve their members for which I am really grateful.
That sounds great, I have a gym membership but I keep scrolling past the emails about what they are doing. I should look really, Hubby downloaded a programme for a few mins a day for toning and it looks quite good I downloaded the female version and did it online with Barefoot em on video last night it was hilarious, I will try and do it each day now for 30 days see if it helps. that with my 3 sessions of running I am hoping to see some positive effects!
All I would say is find something that is sustainable to start with and hopefully youโll be consistent. Have patience with yourself! Praise yourself too! Ugh Iโm sounding like evangelical ๐
I have already signed up for 5 classes next week and we are currently doing a 6 week nutrition and weight loss course. The support from coaches and members has been just amazing and I have lost 7lbs already this year!
Having not really slept since the end of Dec., my mother has been encouraging me to take sleeping pills which I have refused. The other night (at 5am) I was look for yoga stretches to do and came across breathing to help sleep. So far this has helped me twice:

So will continue to see if it will help me further.
