Morning, and greetings to Andy ... whose reasoning about acquiring a C2 sounds similar to mine. That was back in 2007 and I still use the thing at least 3 times a week. One of my best ever purchases.

Just a warmup and 5k at UT1 pace today. Had a decent run along the coastal path yesterday.

Welcome Andy! I also started erging due to running injuries and have to say my body (especially my back) feels much stronger than when I started in 2018. Enjoy those PBs 👍

Haha Muttley I was just looking at my lifetime bests - 8 in 2019, 2 in 2020 and 1 in 2021, I'll probably have to do a marathon to get a pb in 2022 😂

Thanks for the warm welcome Muttley and Craggy.

Making the most of improving technique, I'm riding the PB wave still and have just beaten the 20 minute goal for a 5k. Get in there!

Actually took 17s from the PB time of a fortnight back, so chuffed with that. Its a long time to be in the pain cave, but I didn't collapse off the ergo, or chunder afterwards, so there's still room for improvement.

Also sorted out the erg app before starting, so focusing on stroke length helped I'm sure. Need to upload it to Fetch now, unless there's an automatic way to sync with the C2 log...?

Nice work Andy, it didn't take you long to go sub 20! More to come by the sounds of it 💪

I upload from C2 log to Fetch via the link below, it's only a basic upload but I tend to view the workout in more detail on the C2 log.

I think downloading CSV/TCX/FIT files from C2 and uploading to Fetch gives more detail, but it's not something I've tried - think you do this don't you Nellers?

I do, and once you’ve done it a couple of times it’s pretty straight forward. You just go onto the training entry on the C2log and download it then hit the add training TCX file to import it to Fetch. You then get pace, power, rate and HR stats along with all your splits.

Ah yeah I've just uploaded a TCX file, didn't realise it was that straight forward, thanks Nellers 😁

Make sure you’ve relabelled it Craggy. I think it defaults to cross training- general unless you change it, and that won’t feed into the league table.
