Yeah! I carry the galvanised chicken drinker for 100 metres, it contains 5 litres. Goodness that gets heavy! And the bed must be an awkward shape too.

not had a good week, running on hold as my knee is playing up and I've managed to put 2lbs on.
I haven't been eating *that* much so assuming it's partly that I've refilled/topped up the glycogen, carb-loading 2 weeks early ;)

Frustrated that I've got to taper time without having lost as much lard as I wanted to, but nothing I can do about that now.

Pix, that means you've fuelled your training effectively and probably got the very best improvements from it :)

I think the key for me after the event will be to continue to pay attention to my weight and get it down *before* the next training plan kicks in.

Then post outlaw recovery I'm focusing on weight alone so same as you! Mind you I don't know what I will do post outlaw either

Rosehip: I am sure you will lose weigh after your ultra.

2lb loss for me!! and it was my Birthday yesterday and stayed in calories.::-)
