azx - when I clicked on your trendweight link in your post 317, it took me to your data! I was expecting the trendweight home page...

You're definitely right cackleberry! I used to drink pretty much every day, but cut-out for 3 months then now only drink at weekends if I go out. My garmin tells me that I've really punished myself. Body battery goes up to 40 instead of 100, it tells me I slept crap, my resting HR goes up and my stress level doubles. All that without me telling it I drank any alcohol.

Yeah, the link is the link that it provides you to share if you wish. Has my history since the beginning of the year. I don't mind people seeing it and hope it might perhaps motivate someone.

gardengirl - I've a spreadsheet where I've been tracking my weight on a weekly basis since Oct 2001. I still keep that going but more recently, on azx's recommendation, I've been weighing myself daily and using Fitbit/Trendweight to see the longer-term trend. But I've only been doing daily weigh-ins since the start of April so I'll keep doing it for a bit longer yet.

Speaking of which, the current downward trend is encouraging and ignoring today's 'blip' caused by having a Sunday roast yesterday because we had a family picnic on Sunday, Trendweight tells me I may reach my goal weight (of losing a stone and getting down to 13st 7lb) by November this year.

Thanks everyone, that’s really helpful. I think I’ll go for the daily weigh in and look at the overall trend.

so I've upped my fluid intake (well trying) especially with the hot weather
but this is also dramatically increasing my bathroom visits!

Does the body adapt and bathroom visits reduce?

Bathroom visits are what you have to get used to! Unless you sweat more...

It is why a lot of people prefer to be dehydrated!

Think of the extra exercise back and for the toilet! I have a bladder the size of small pea.Don't even ask how many trips after I have gone to bed!
