EP - I was out walking earlier this morning in the hot sunshine. I drank most of my 1 litre water bottle I took with me on the walk but didn't need to pee until I got home 4 hrs after leaving for the walk ;) And when I did get home I drank a glass of ginger beer and two mugs of tea - hate to think how dehydrated I would have been if I'd taken less water. With hindsight, I should have put my Platypus hydration system in my rucksack rather than the water bottle.

Just don't drink too much plain water - even the experts get it wrong.

If you are peeing a lot then your body doesn't need the extra water, so what's the point of continually drinking?

Just checking in. Started to make some progress and just recently not been great with the calorie intake but still losing, this mainly because last month I was back to 166+ miles run which seems to be making a difference.

Good news FR, well done.

I suspect my weight is going to go up as I seem to have something of a dodgy knee. I've been running on it for ages but after a 5k TT on Sat, a 21k run on Sun and 45k walk on Monday, I think I've upset it a bit and am going to need to take a week off.

Fenland that is great news and on the running miles.

I also find 200 miles a month is my sweet spot for losing so need to up my miles but I am trying and mixing inlots of walking as well.I just have to watch Achilles as it hates me on my feet.

AZX sorry to hear that maybe that walk was the straw that broke the camels back?

Yeah WP, perhaps it was. I do like walking I must say. My plan was to walk to Brighton on a 70km route I'd mapped out, but I think that was a bit optimistic on a first attempt at anything above about 25k. Was a lovely route on a lovely day:

No change for me this week, which was surprising considering my sugary carb intake this weekend. I’ve lost 2 stone though, which sounds more impressive than 12.7 kg…

I’m also at a run streak of 98 days - my longest ever. Not sure how long it’ll be til I break 😂

A bit of a 'blip' for me at the end of last week but I'm back slowly losing weight now and my Trendweight graph is still showing a downward trend. I've been trying to cut down on the 'snacks' and biscuits and get more exercise and it seems to be working. But I do mean 'slowly' losing weight - just need to get that downward curve heading down a bit more steeply.
