I used the scooby calculator scoobysworkshop.com I was always an under water, many (many) years ago I joined weight watchers and had to eat more! I was so fearful of calories. Back in 2012 I started to really work on having a healthier attitude to food and I was recommended eating more to lose weight. I did I lost a reasonable amount remember the day I thought my running training was paying off then realised my body was fuelled. I did put weight back on for various reasons (as we are prone to doing) but have made a conscious effort these past months. It’s a hard habit to break I instinctively cut cals but I’m working more on eating better for those calories which has worked. |

It has been the lockdowns and restrictions last year that have done it for me! I would only ride at weekends before CoVid, but a short ride is 100 kms for me... And often I'd go for an overnight micro adventure. I havent actually ridden since May last year, as I simply wasn't allowed more than a few miles, there simply is no point! Cycling being the only exercise I can do, this meant I have not bern expending those calories. I also have not been allowed to teach yoga, that is 5 hours a week of that exercise gone... And I have not bern allowed to walk either, for long/far enough to make a difference. Up and down the lane simply doesnt cut it if you normally have the whole of the brecon beacons national park, radnoshire hills and elan valley as your playground... All the misery has driven me to comfort eat, largely chocolate and liquorice, so here we are: 1 stone over weight and 2 stone from previous weight when still able to and allowed to exercise/train regularly... I am happy to get back to my usual pre-exercising regularly weight by the way... I know I cannot go further without actually exercising daily... It is also not necessary! As long as I can fit back into my clothes and feel happy with myself... |

Oh and I have never bern this heavy in my life!!! Weight has always fluctuated around 65 kg: 64-66, where I want to be again. Regardless of people saying I mustnt loose weight, I am "skinny enough". Not fitting into my clothes is the issue: popping the button on my previously loose fitting work trousers did it for me... |

I think there is decision with MFP algorithm - do you select active or use your exercise calories? To me active is what you do outside sport (not a lot right now).
