Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Actually closing the park seems very mean and unnecessary - I hope you can get out on your bike for proper rides soon.

Oh it was horrible! I am on the eastern fringes and my garden is partially in the park. Technically, I wasn't allowed to look after the chickens!
And totally insane: the whole of the village walking up and down the lane! While before, everyone disappeared into a vast network of footpaths...

I'm not a big fan of chocolate, thank goodness - but I got the lockdown baking habit, which really didn't help and I'm a bit addicted to peanuts and walnuts.

Ridiculous - closing car parks/laybys and making it known there were patrols around checking where people had come from would have been sufficient.

Sorry about your Dog rosehip.

She will be one in two weeks, it is good because there are busy work days when I might not leave the house, but we manage about 2 miles in 50 minutes.

Rosehip, they went as far as putting metal gates across lanes and padlocking them! One was cut into pieces by a local farmer who has grazing rights and couldnt get to his sheep and ponies...

- because people couldn't do what they were told :(

Ralph was a springer and until he was ill we easily walked 5 miles a day - I could go do the walking on my own, but it's not the same :(

I love springers! Very energetic and affectionate.
And no, it is not the same... Where is the motivation to walk if you previously walked with Ralph?

And yes, because some idtiots decided to go stand on top of penyfan because they were asked not to. Stupidly, mostly people who had never actually climbed a hill before ruining it for the locals.

I love chocolate, hence none in the house.

Post lock down our walks could be more exciting. Evening, slow, sub zero street walks in the dark aren't fun for me.
