currently 15st 10, would like to drop a stone because I'm fed up of carting extra weight up hills. Have just had my lunch 2hrs late in the hope I won't binge before tea.

I have dipped below 15 stone for the first time in a few years. I probably need to lose another stone at least. If I could lay off the beer and the cheese this should be a breeze. The problem is that I have no will power.

I'm with you on the will power front Andrew.
5:2 seems to be manageable for me in the main, it's only one day, and tomorrow you can have a lovely breakfast
I reckon i'm about 7lbs down, would like to shift another 10

The problem I have with the 5:2 is that I eat twice as much on my 5 days than I would have normally. Thus completely negating the effects of the 2 virtuous days.

I tend to do a 3:2:2.
I usually do well on the two fasting days and the three normal work days, but then pig and drink vast quantities over the weekend!

OH likes doing the 2 back to back to get them over and done with. I had some success with it last year - but long-term I know I need to fix bad habits, which is what I'm trying to do now. Fed up of losing and regaining the same 5kg!
