My Trailfire vest has arrived and I'm impressed with its lightness. I've watched a video on YouTube which was handy to explain how to adjust and lock the fit on the waist elastic (I hadn't spotted the little grooves). But I can't see what the purpose of the small black plastic things (shaped like a number eight) on the chest elastic might be?
Pix, do those 500ml soft bottles fit in the front pockets? There seem to be comments under the video I watched suggesting those pockets were too small for more than 250ml each. It's not a problem if it's only the smaller size as I'm not planning any ultras

My bottles fit in my vest! they don't go all the way down but they don't fall out and the tube goes in the loops nicely

Min, it’s a 10l one, but size m/l which might be a bit big for you
The 15l one I have is. M/l and I reckon a s migthave been better- i went by the sizing on the website
Anyway, you’re welcome to it, gratis- just pass it on if it’s too big

There are some real bargains, V! I get whiteout with their XS - it fits and doesn't feel tight or need a wiggle on, but it stretches too much, so apart from bras, I buy S in their stuff, shame as rarely any S in the sale by this stage!! I'm holding out for another tikiboo Bank Holiday blanket discount!!
