Doesn’t sound good, mine hasn’t arrived yet. Sad if they changed that much between 7 & 8.

My Clifton 6s are coming up to 1200 km. I'm tempted to give the NB Fresh Foam More v3 a go, since they are in the same niche and I am so happy with the trail version.

I did 5 miles in my Clifton 8’s this morning and I love them! So much better than my usual Adidas trainers.

I think the scales are tipping, K5 Gus:) could I ask what size you use in comparison to Hokas? In Hoka trail shoes I usually use euro 43 but in Hoka road it tends to 42 2/3rds. I could do with a slightly wider toebox than Cliftons.

I find the Clifton 8 toe box wider than my Saucony and a bit wider than Clifton 7. They ARE comfortable it's just for me running ain't so good in them. I'll put in a thought here😂if I wasn't struggling currently then maybe the Clifton 8s would be ok, when I'm not running so well I'm not planting my feet so well and look for any excuse!

Yeah, I use Sauconys quite a lot and they are usually wide enough. I have bunions so am a bit sensitive to width. But the local shop has the NB More to try on - must .. resist.

I ran in my new Clifton 8's for the first time today. First run post-covid which was tough. I can't say that I noticed much difference from the Clifton 7's but maybe I will need to have a few more outings to give a better answer.
