Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I took my Gamma out for test run on Saturday and loved it at £15 it is a real bargain. It gave out enough light in the open & in the woods to give me more than enough light for my off road running. I also found it very comfortable to wear, I would recommend it to any one who is looking to buy a head torch this winter.

Alpkit Gamme is a market leader.

I used one on a nightimte search in the Lake District last winter, the head torches of the other 3 guys were frankly pointless by comparison to the range of the Gamma. The battery life is good too.

Tried out my lenser H14 at Hardmoors over the weekend, and just used it on the 15% 'dimmer' setting all the time. It was plenty bright enough and on full power obscured everyone else's lights. Put it onto full power once to find a nav point and it was like a searchlight. Also liked that I could put the batter pack onto my shoulder strap. Very impressed with it. And running it at 15% should give good battery life too!

Plus 210 lumens in a tight beam should be good enough to temporarily blind anybody giving any hassle!

ohh just realised it was from last December!! Where did you buy the torch from in the end DeeGee? Just plugged it into Amazon but it gave me a pathfinder 21LED which is only £10 but rather get something that is recommended by fetchies (and affordable)
