Northern Exile Oct 2012 1:14pm, 11 Oct 2012 1,748 posts	0 Northern Exile I bought one of the Alpkit Gamma headtorches (DTs right, they come in and out of stock quickly) and for the money they're pretty good, they even have a red LED at the back. Don't expect miracles though, they're not that powerful and for a bit more money you can get a better light. I've got a Petzl Myo XP and it's seen good service, however what I really want is one of these: peteblandsports.co.uk Given the iron grip my wife has on my wallet, I suspect I might be wanting one for a while yet
JohnnyO Oct 2012 1:47pm, 11 Oct 2012 13,901 posts	0 JohnnyO I have an XP2. It's fine for a smooth-ish surface, but I found it a bit lacking for more difficult stuff. The lenser was recommended to me, there is a h7 and h14. The 14 is more powerful, but both were recommended. I haven't bought one yet though.
