I recently bought a Silva head torch from Amazon...I must admit, it is absolutely amazing. Good clear light and you barley notice you're wearing it...well worth the ££s

I also have the Silva in the above link and it is excellent, it uses lower power LEDs to 'fill' the wide-angle near-field in addition to a high power spot. It works brilliantly.

I also have an Alpkit Gamma which is also very good, especially for the money. And yes, the battery cover is now held on by cable ties.

ogee - hold your finger stationary where the text you want to copy is - a magnifying glass will appear. Release your finger and you get options for copy / copy all, and you can also drag the 'handles' over the text you want. At the destination, hold your finger down again and 'Paste' will appear.

I've got a Fennix one which is really good, was about £50 but quite heavy so use my alpkit when I am on roads and the Fennix when I really need the extra brightness

hey folks sorry not been about today, firstly I am an independant shop person so have not tested the NAO a true testing.. i.e. overnight or on a full night ultra run as yet, soon as i do will let ya know.
however retail is around £130:00, not quite a second mortgage but still much more than the MYO XP,i know but the tech in this torch is awesome and in my oppinion better than the Led Lenser/My Torch ones.
the usb rechargable battery is great and does last a long long time. but until i see it last me for a seven hour dark run will remain on the fence. if you are worried you can get spare batteries which for Ceasers camp i will be doing. :-)

I love my Alpkit Gamma, even buy them as presents for people. I have a friend however who is an orienteer and the thing she has strapped to her head lights up the Forest in one go LOL. I think it is bike light and has a battery pack which straps round her waist.
