I am staying in the Victoria warehouse, £75 a night seemed reasonable, and it looks to be pretty well located. called the football hotel for the "special marathon rates" and it was £170 a night or something!

In two minds at moment. Really enjoyed this race last two years and not keen to miss it. However have entered Canalathon 50km just two weeks before GMM. Might be a bit too close to run this year. Wanted to try an ultra which is not too bonkers and this is close to home.

I just watched last year's video too - then entered again for next year even though I said I wasn't going to! ;) TBH I think it's the best option as I fancy a shot at a PB - I enjoyed the Stratford marathon last year, but the second section of cycle path was completely soul destroying! Thinking of entering Liverpool as a back up, assuming I get my usual sorry mag in the next few days!

I'd like to run this again, It's such a well organised marathon and a decent course.

I'd like to try and give it some *beans again* but well see how things shape up in the new year.

Spanners - I think we ran past each other opposite the Hare & Hounds just before 7:30pm last night?

I wonder who/when the first VLM ballot reject will be to ask about GMM?
