On what basis do you make that judgement? Purely because the course turned out to be miss-measured? In that case please explain to me your theory about how Andi Jones (2014 winner) ran 25.7miles if the course was only 380m (0.24mi) short???

Nelly - get over it - the course was SHORT and the organisers messed up big time. Its actually pretty shocking that they are trying to wash their hands of it and blame others, particularly as so many have raised concerns and you are saying that even the winner was half a mile short! Everyone accepts Garmins arent 100% accurate but in this case I havent heard anyone saying their Garmin was saying the course was long whilst 100's reported it short.

Interesting reading back through the old threads. Nelly, you said previously that there was a change in the course in 2014 from 2013 which might have knocked up to 100m off but you assumed they had perhaps re-set one of the switchbacks to compensate? My reading of the latest threads suggest that the course hadnt been re-measured by the organisers since 2013 - surely if the course changed between those years it would have needed re-measuring?

Yup, we caught up with him at the Asics zone thingy and pretty much ran with him till mile 24 or so when he fell behind a bit. Abz1903 spotted that he may have some 'issues' with chaffing.
