Going to see Martha tomorrow night in Birmingham. Strongly recommend this band; seen them more times than I can count.

One band I have always (well for about 40 years) wanted to see was Mott The Hoople. Finally got to see (a version of) them last night in Shepherd's Bush. Really enjoyed it and it reminded me of just how many great songs they did.

Who would have thought Ian Hunter would still be singing at 79! Great cameos too by Joe Elliott (doing the Lynsey De Paul lines on Roll Away The Stone) and Brian May (joining in on All The Way From Memphis and All The Young Dudes).

Manics doing all of This is my truth on Fri. Excited.

OH is going to Soak. I wd have gone but had Manics tickets first.

Oh I would have loved to see the Manics doing that. Eldest saw them do the whole of Everything Must Go in Cardiff a couple of years ago as a birthday present - one of those times you buy someone something you wish you'd got for yourself :-)
