Only just spotted this thread - not that I'm really a gig goer, more into comedy (have Bill Bailey, Frank Skinner, Josh Widdecombe and Ed Byrne coming up over the next few months), but saw the Dropkick Murphys at Birmingham last month - excellent; high energy and good engagement with the crowd. Last gig before that was The Corrs a couple of years ago and before that was probably Genesis at Knebworth in about 1990!
