Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

yes, the Manics are playing "This is my truth" in full. To be honest, i think it is the weakest of all their albums, but i am going to see them anyway!

I saw Ferocious Dog in Manchester in 2017 (i think). I do not necessarily agree with all their politics but they are a great live band

Proper old school working class left wing political folk rock, sung by an ex-miner. Perfect ;)

Yep, those liberty spikes make the singer difficult to miss 😀.

Hark the Herald Angels Synge ♪♫
Last three attended:
- Kacey Musgraves - she's gone horribly mainstream and dancey and a long way from the small town stuff of her early albums which I liked.
- Talon (Eagles tribute band) - went with a load of friends and fearing the worst after seeing the Eagles at the NEC on their History of the Eagles tour the year before Glenn Frey died. Actually not bad but not a patch on the real thing.
- Alela Diane - unusual vocal style but very gifted musically.

Next three (tickets on the mantlepiece):
- Beth Rowley.

- Martyn Joseph (saw him a year or two back with Tom Robinson and the ubiquitous (if you live in Devon) Steve Knightley).
- KT Tunstall (brilliant live performer with probably the best audience engagement around).

Looks like Mrs P and I might be seeing Muse after all, general sale doesn't go on sale until tomorrow morning for Bristol. What I saw yesterday was a special pre-sale. As she suffers from hypermobility syndrome, we can get a one plus one ticket for the disability section. It will still cost us £76 providing she can get through to the hotline quickly enough.

Cheapest seats are £49 (restricted view), standing and most other seats £76, premium seats £96 plus. That's taking the piss imho, but it sell out in no time whatsoever.

I predict they’re not an Ed Sheeran covers band
