Bad news from the music world: Pete Shelley of the Buzzcocks has died. He was only 63. Heart attack, apparently.

Mrs P got our Muse tickets. Whoo! 😀
They'd better put on a bloody good show for the prices they're charging.

That will be fantastic! I love the Levellers. They're probably the band I've seen most times...….maybe 10??

Saw The Levellers on their We The Collective acoustic tour in July, at Hereford Cathedral. They were excellent. Listening to their music & watching the light change through the stained glass windows was such an unusual experience, so atmospheric and an entirely different kind of light show. Would love to see their full electric show.

They're brilliant. They put on a festival every year called Beautiful Days. I've been about 6 times I think, and they always play the Sunday headline slot.
As medium sized festivals go the tickets are a bargain. Have found so many new bands through that festival, including Ferocious Dog.

‘Grats on the Muse tickets, Postie. Hope you enjoy it.
Cavey, do you like Blood or Whiskey? Similar folk/punk/Celtic vibe, saw them support The Dropkick Murphys a couple of years back.

I haven't been for the last 2 years, but went from 2011-16. I absolutely love it!!
A lot of the bands I listen to regularly were found through BD's; Frank Turner, Mad Dog McRea, Slamboree, Keston Cobblers Club, Gentlemans Dub Club, The Skints,
Not heard of Blood or Whiskey. Will have to check them out!
