Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Can you wise chaps help?
My fenix 5 the calibration from watch to treadmill is off which is annoying as it has me running 5-6mm and I can not run that fast ever:-) is there a way to fix this or do I have to do a rest of the whole watch?

WP - if you find out let me know. Mine is constantly pissed and I am either rocket paced or slower than slow on a slow day with slow effect :¬)

Treadmill calibration taking the pace from the wrist is just plain poor. I think you need to factory reset to calibrate it again but the easier way is to get a Stryd or RUNN if you can afford it. You can get cheaper footpods but they are typically only good if you tend to run the same pace all the time. If you want something that adapts to pace then have a look at Stryd or RUNN

I was going to ask here if anyone had accuracy problems with their Garmin yesterday and today, but I found some info on the Garmin website about the problem I’m having.

Posting here in case it helps anyone else

Glad I didn't fork out for a new F6 now ;-) F5x+ still working OK, so GPS chipset is the most likely culprit.

Sigh
It's affecting my 245 as well, this was from a walk yesterday morning:

Ah well. They'll sort it out. Random extra WSW squares in the meantime!

Let the watch sit with a clear sky view for a couple of minutes and it’ll be fine - I was keeping an eye on the map today and it was a full two minutes before it drifted over to where I was actually standing, but after that it nailed the always tricky hard left over a bridge covered with a metal grid.
The satellite ephemeris file isn’t being transferred properly but the chip is working fine.
