flanker Feb 2008 12:19pm, 22 Feb 2008 7,301 posts	0 flanker 5 or 10 mins EP. can't remember. It's not in the manual, as it came as one of the features of the later firmware releases. There are a few other similar bits too that have come out with each update.
Phil_N Feb 2008 11:54am, 23 Feb 2008 390 posts	0 Phil_N EP - I tried Flankers little tip today and the alert beep was silenced for approx 3 mins. Whilst it is snoozed you still get the little beep if you have auto lap enabled.

I have just bought a new pc updating from windows xp to vista & when i plug my garmin in it comes up with new hardware found & cant' find the drivers. If anyone can help i would be very grateful - thanks sally

SteveV Feb 2008 12:24pm, 25 Feb 2008 120 posts	0 SteveV Windows vista is a nightmare. I had no end of problems with it and ended up down grading back to XP. When i was using Vista i had the same problem and found the best way was to install the software direct from the garmin website-it worked for me but thats not saying your having the same problem
