Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Quiet weekend for me, I hate Monday night games, the only upside is you see what other teams around have done so you know what to do.

Doesn’t really help that the transfer window shuts just after full time too.

@Diogenes is going to be a happy man.... @Joopsy less so.

I have a feeling the way that the results have gone this weekend, Arsenal fans are going to be happy at 6:20 pm today.

Only Man utd. No great shakes winning there. They're almost relegation fodder currently.

What is the difference between Manchester City's defence and a bucket of excrement?

The bucket.

Absolutely shocking performance.

Not really. They sat on 1 - 0, they still do that, it seems to instruction too. City had 60%+ possession. But, if you get after City they crumble. Anyone can score v. City if they have a go.

I agree with @Ocelot Spleens - Arsenal were not that great but City's lethargic (and predictable) build up and defensive vulnerability made the opposition seem better.

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
