Loved my away trip to Ayr last night. Football as it used to be. Traffic jams on route Stopped at a spoons to eat, but it was carnage and not enough time so had a bottle of Peroni for tea Massive queues outside. Inadequate turnstiles. Got in just as the game started, caught in a melee of people due to inadequate set up Eventually get to a space about ten mins in Join a portaloo q and can watch the game while waiting for one of the three to be available. Lady in front of me was apprehensive and understandably so A handy pie stand allowed me to get tea and no wait there other than for the Wi-Fi to accept my payment Burnt my tongue on said pie Stuffy lower league home side and it’s anyone game Atmosphere like it used to be and the proper songs and not the new shite Standard poor refereeing from Clancy Late winner and carnage Bampots had broken a bit of guttering in their celebrations but one was stood on the barrier holding it from falling on the fans trying to find a way out Took ages to get out. Like really ages. Only one exit and with the same narrow pinch point Saw the warm down, motm presentation and the tv analysis Craig levein was one of said analysts and received appropriate welcoming songs. Road closed on the way home, detour Home later than my official bedtime Poor parkrun the morning after. Wonder why. |

I was at Old Trafford and the lino dropped a bollock on a blatant throw to Leicester, initially giving it to Man Utd. Then delivered again for the goal. Definitely some additional training/eye tests required.

Sensational Baz, a proper footballing trip. Loving the Orient goal, but a tad harsh if you score a worldie against city that goes down as an og though |

Except he didn't score a worldwide, because it hit the bar and came out.

The fact the goalie knocked it in makes it even better for me.

I'd forgotten about that throw in decision, @Cheg . The one where the it was right in front of him and the ref had to overrule him because it was so obvious? He had a terrible night overall didn't he?

Yeah that was the one. I was that side of the stadium and about 80 rows up and I saw it and advised him to look into a new career.

I forgot about too. At first I thought the ref blew for a foul throw in.

Ayr has been my “other team” since the 80s @Bazoaxe gutted we lost to an almost last minute winner. Hoping we can concentrate on the league now. Well played and good luck to Hibs though 👏 |
