Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice one, Sushi. Yeah, not many have claimed it. I guess partly due to the need for a single 100m distance to be recorded, but also because it's actually not a slow pace.

Can't seem to find another time badge to aim for.

That's shifting, Sushi.

I can never work out what's next with the badges. I don't think there's a way to filter them by category (run, swim, bike, games, blogs etc) so I've no idea if there's anything else to aim for.

I didn't even know about the Eric badge until you mentioned it the other day.

When you go on the badges page there's tabs at the top. One is for next targets. I can't see a swim time one, just tge distance one.

I wish there was a filter as I'd hide all the bike and chess ones. Never gonna happen, no matter how much I like a badge. Bikes are the devil's work and chess makes my brain ache

Good work Sushi! (+1 for a badge filter too, will happily vote for it if you do a feature request).

Inspired by the recent mention of the Eric the Eel badge I tried a 100m TT at the end of my set last night to see how far off 1.52 I was... expecting maybe 2.03 or thereabouts so it was a very happy surprise to see 1.51 on my Garmin! I was pretty tired by then so will go for it properly as a separate swim on my next pool visit.

I wonder if I could do it in my 10m pool. Bit of a cheat really.

Just been on holiday. 11m pool. Extracted about 1600m from it. Longest sessions 42 lengths (460m). Water temperature 22°C. Just as well my push-off is rubbish ;-)

(Garmin only goes down to 14m pool length. Weirdly, it recorded lengths swum much more accurately than normal - spot on for the final session.)
