It's the 'snap to grid' issue. The original position of the bug would have been less than a mile from your home point, but because of the grid system, it's been 'rounded out'. I suspect that a visit to the bug will be all that's needed to squish it.

WtnMel
I started playing Fetchpoint again recently. But living in a smallish village, the only way to move bugs outside my home circle was to have to always head for one particular road junction. And having to mark bugs as inaccessible as they turned up in random fields in the surrounding countryside, was frankly, getting very boring. A smaller home circle would help of course - more chance of squishing bugs at other locations - but I realise that's a non-starter. So I've given up and left the game - ho hum.

@WtnMel I've returned recently too. While it's fairly urban there are big patches of inaccessible area I've resorted to planting flowers which I've started to harvest. So my circle is not in my neighbourhood but close enough if I can travel to it. Snag I can't get the 200 daily bonus it's an experiment so if its worth it. Time will tell |

Ha ha just reading the last page, we have different ideas as to what is accessible... I would love it if my local friends would play* get a bit more competition going etc. *just come on Fetch in general, I do keep trying... I think I got us 2 new users over Christmas. |

Fizz :-)
@WtnMel you could always try putting your home just outside the circle. It does mean the bugs can be quite far away, but you’re guaranteed to squish them
