There's a trick to avoid that, as Pale Skinny Vegan noted:

Flowers are planted every half mile. If you always follow the same route, you will still have half mile gaps between them. If you ride in circles for 160m before setting off, they will end up staggered. Repeat for 320m, 480m etc. and you will eventually create a fully loaded daisy chain. I discovered this by accident simply by riding around my circle squishing bugs and collecting gems before joining my regular route.


So all you need to do is to go around in circles for a bit before heading off (or start your watch a bit later). This is the result:

Going through your bug before leaving your circle helps to randomise where the half miles fall, as does going through whatever other tokens there are of interest to you, in your circle.

I always go different random ways around my locality but it's amazing how often I seem to hit a flower at the exact spot on the half mile.

I shall be back home tonight after 3 weeks in France - have so many bugs to clear.

I did try moving my map but lost the will as just wasn't getting anywhere as so open etc

Much better today. I walked a minute down the road to the drain cover and started 7 flowers planted.

Added a little onto run to get the 7th flower I'm not addicted 😂
