Your yellow headed bug means that someone else has passed through it and infected it and so you will incur extra daily penalty points (every unsquished uninfected bug costs you 4 points a day).

I’ve had it happen that I couldn’t see my bug maybe some kind of a glitch a kind friend told me where it was.

I think it's possible to accumulate more than 30 bugs - if you move your circle the 30 day counter for any existing bugs is reset, so I guess if you were trying really hard you could get a whole circleful!

Ah, I did move my circle, so that explains it.
I am astounded another Fetchie got to my esoterically remote home circle, which is 90% on private land, and infected a bug! They must have been trespassing!

Is he still going?

I got out on my bike this afternoon to clear my bugs which accumulated while I was away on holiday. Also managed to bag 5 diamonds among other jewels.

1) The scoreboard and markers don't 'reset' on the first of the month any more. They work on a rolling 30 day system.
2) You only need to worry about red bugs.
