they expire 30 days after they appear, so may have been around a while before you first visited them?

I think traffic lights can be a bit flaky sometimes too. And ones that have been owned and then revert to being unowned seem to melt away within a couple of days if they aren't reclaimed.

Sushi.
I had to report my bug today. Where it respawned was along a path I’ve never been before.
It’s marked as a dog walking path so I thought it would be like the other in that locality - well used and open.
It was overgrown, dark, muddy and scattered with litter that indicates illicit gatherings to drink etc.
Even on a sunny day it didn’t ‘feel’ particularly safe. Very isolated and unlikely to be where I’d find the usual friendly dog walkers.
I did clear the bug but I’d be very tempted to Mark that location unreachable in future.
Does that seem fair enough?

Yep - as last week, your circle, your bug, your rules - if it doesn't seem safe then it's inaccessible

If you were in shared areas i assume its marked as unreachable for yourself only?? Or say if someone else was happy to er in my case cross fields i choose to ignore certain times of the year it would become active to me again??

If an icon is marked as inaccessible, that means that no further icons will be placed at that point. If anyone passes through that point, it becomes accessible again and icons may be placed there once more. That tends to cover most scenarios, such as where a country footpath is impassible at some times of year but not at others, or a public highway (e.g. dual carriageway) is unsafe for someone who can use it by one mode of exercise (e.g running) but safe for someone using a different mode of transport (e.g.a cyclist).

I was thinking of exactly that this morning. There's a road I wouldn't run and it hadn't occurred to me that I could cycle it to move my bug.
