Old Croc, are you entering your route manually? As Fetch says in the guide, 'If you don't have a GPS watch, you can map your route manually. Make sure your clicks are close together.' If your clicks don't correspond to near enough to a half-mile point, Fetchpoint can't give you a flower. fetcheveryone.com/game-fetchpoint-guide.php |

Another flower tip: varying your route shifts your half-mile points. Deviating from the shortest path out of your circle, e.g. to collect jewels or squash bugs, is a good way to effectively randomise your half-mile points.

OC, perhaps you ran exactly the same route as one you did recently, therefore you will have already planted flowers. Try starting your Garmin (or other watch) 100 yards up the road or do an extra round the block as you set off.

Old Croc, if you vary your route on the way, the flowers should be planted in different places, because you reached the half mile points in different places. See my explanation above, for more details.

Thanks BS, I start all runs from home at mo and as I live in a cul de sac and onto main road that probably explains the first few half mile markers always being same. Might have to start some runs out back lane rather than out front door - the extra bit of busy road not as big an issue under current conditions.

OC, you could even turnaround and head back for 50m or so (early on), so that the half mile markers will be 100m closer to your starting point.

Well, I was number 100 on the leaderboard for a while this afternoon but now I’m down to 101. Let’s see if the overnight bug bonus improves things.
