True, but you’ve got to have a lot of shoulder strength to really go for it on kipping pull ups and I don’t!

Shoulder stability. The active muscles are way down the line from the shoulder.

Yeah, that’s kind of what I meant. If you do kipping pull ups without the shoulder stability and strength you’re likely to cause yourself a problem. So are you joining me then Kodo? Sounds like you know a bit about this stuff. Probably more than a dabbler like me.

And Chris and um, maybe look at alternatives to pull ups. Lots of options, while staying in the spirit of the challenge.
