True, but you’ve got to have a lot of shoulder strength to really go for it on kipping pull ups and I don’t!

Shoulder stability. The active muscles are way down the line from the shoulder.

Yeah, that’s kind of what I meant. If you do kipping pull ups without the shoulder stability and strength you’re likely to cause yourself a problem.

So are you joining me then Kodo? Sounds like you know a bit about this stuff. Probably more than a dabbler like me.

And Chris and um, maybe look at alternatives to pull ups. Lots of options, while staying in the spirit of the challenge.

Will see what I can do. I'll be doing chinups instead of pullups. Not done them for a while so getting some practice in later today hopefully.

Good man TBR. Glad of the company, and on chin-ups, that's kind of my point in terms of scaling it to make it work for you (but still challenging).

We did those superman W's in Pilates, a lot harder than they look!

The towel floor pull and the door knob row thingies look good

I'm not joining you, btw, can barely walk and can't put weight through the front of left foot at all at the moment, but looks like some options for some upper body stuff ...

31-31 January 2021 we're going to do a Half Murph (800m run, 50 pull ups, 100 press ups, 150 squats, 800m run).
