Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

As the owner of a pair of size 11.5 clown feet, I can confirm that Ghosts do indeed come in half sizes - if you order online from Brooks, they have a good 90 day return policy.

RevB - I was going to say Runners Need in Exeter before I read onto the next page. Ghosts are very good shoes and the latest ones get great reviews.

I just bought a pair of Ghosts v 16 and in a half size last week when I went shoe shopping and can vouch for them being a great road shoe.

The scary thing is I think the first pair of Ghosts I owned were Gerson 5 or 6, and now they’re up to 16!

I can’t remember if I needed wide fit or not. I definitely need to try them. My guess would be 7.5 standard width…. I suppose I could just go along to the store and try them today, and swerve the gait analysis….

RevB - you don't have to have gait analysis. Gait analysis is often inaccurate as not easy for many to run naturally on a treadmill.

I suggest you ask to try on the Ghosts and also a selection of their other neutral shoes and choose what feels right for you. Happy shopping. 🙂

I’m off shoe shopping today too, so lucky to have an Inov8 outlet not far away. I want to wear double socks for Meriden and while my current inov8 are big enough they could do with being wider for the bunion and I figure it will mean I have some bigger shoes for post surgery.

Happy shoe shopping Rev.

Homemade pizza for tea tonight I have the dough rising now and making myself they’re not that bad calories wise. Yum.
