I'm failing miserably at the moment. Another Monday, another fresh start.

No scales here so no idea what my weight is. But yesterday's food and alcohol was full of all the things I don't normally have anymore, in particular lots of sweet things, and although they were nice at the time I felt quite off-colour overnight. I think that's my body reminding me that it doesn't like those choices.

Oh heck I don’t really like chocolate (a bar of chocolate is a different matter and a weekend treat) but lindt I do love!

I am back from another week on the boat. I managed to get a couple of lb off but it’s back.

I am going to Iceland next month then a girls weekend to Mallorca with my cousin in October. I need to get a grip before the weight keeps climbing so I am officially getting a grip.

I do MFP but find it such a faff as I cook from scratch and putting in every single ingredient (ok if it’s one I’ve made before it’s saved & is close enough each time not to stress) but I’ve also made a pact to cook more new meals. I might just get a notebook and write it down.

I was quite pleased we got home last night could easily have got a takeaway but we cooked (homemade pizza from last pizza night and onion rings) and despite it being Sunday avoided a beer.

Let do this gang!!

Have logged back in to MFP today and agree with LD, I have eaten so badly over the last few days which has resulted in me sleeping badly too.

Have put the box of Lindt balls away, and the cinnamon sweets brought over from USA for me. No more bread or cakes, I need to get the sugar out of my system 😇

On sleep we are both night owls. If I get beyond 11pm I can easily stay up until 2 (having a few wines) watching a movie. Go to bed wake up and be a little tired but up abs out for a run.

But go to bed at a sensible time (10-11ish) sleep until 7 no alcohol I wake up feeling like death warmed up. It’s no wonder I drink. 😂

MFP has been populated with breakfasts & evening meals (during a phone call I’m listening to rather than partaking in) so a productive use of time.

I really need to get a grip.

This weekend has been so full of food and drink. I have an afternoon out tomorrow after work then that’s it. Back on the straight and narrow

Already tonight I've had more wine than I've drunk in the last two weeks. I know I'm on holiday but it is so difficult to stick to soft drinks when we're all together enjoying each other's company.

LD, that’s been my weekend too. It made a lovely change to be out with family and be relaxing.
