Hope the ankle is ok SW?

I do think the key to it is having times we relax and enjoy (all) the food (😂) then know we can pull back to more normal eating. Life is, after all, for living and enjoying.

I thought I was doing well but have taken my eye off the ball - again - it's back on now though!

The ankle's getting better very slowly, gg. I managed 1.75 miles of run/walk on Friday and I'm walking as much as I was before. It's got a way to go to before I can do much running on it though.

I have had a few days away (I take eat out and drink out to help out very seriously😬) but plan to re-start tomorrow. Making a big chicken and veg casserole which will do for two nights, then a fish tomato based stew which will do until Friday. Recently I have been following the Fast 800 thread on Facebook, lots of the photos people post of their recipes look delicious so might try a few, a 5:2 or 4:3 works well for me. Glad it’s getting colder as stews and soups are great.

Husband is back on 5:2 - I'm trying to stay with him on it but TBH sometimes I am just too darned tired to restrict my eating to that extent, and when I have a lot of work on (like this week) it's harder as I tend to lose the ability to think when I'm hungry.

That said, I have a few things in the fridge (soup, veg stew, falafels) which will help me keep on track.

Sallykate, I think it works for me because, weirdly, I am not hungry until I eat, so I can survive quite happily on tea and coffee until about 5pm, then just have a normal meal. I agree though, if I am tired I crave carbs.

Husband and I both drawing a line and back on it today. It's much easier when you're both on board. It's the extra work with cooking/making food from scratch that I find tiring.

Hallowe'en chocolate my weakness this month but making sure everything gets logged in MFP.

I don't get hungry until 10am so in theory I could happily eat on a 16:8 intermittent schedule - in practise though I hate eating early in the evening.

I caught Covid, my skin removal got cancelled a I have taken to eating literally every carb in the house 😩 I can’t stop myself!

So fed up. And now stuck in the house for two weeks :(

Even though my stomach might be tiny, and it might take 4-5 meals... I ate a whole 12 inch pizza over 2 days. !!

I also polished off 2 bueno and a box of Leibniz biscuits! 😂

Might hide the scales lol
