I’m going through the motions food wise but upping my exercise now the gym is back open so hopefully the damage is kept to a minimum. I am working next week then off for a week so can knuckle down mid October also.

I’m not doing very well and now can’t exercise because I twisted my ankle yesterday :(
Will endeavour to get my head back in the right place to be sensible about what I eat.

Great progress Kwala

Plan is back.on track tomorrow- must try harder and get back in food zone even if cant get back in exercise gain. Being back in the office a factoring travel in the day has knocked me off kilt

Well done Kwala. I've been back on the Blood Sugar Diet since Thursday - not sticking to the low calories, but the principles of cutting out flour, pasta, rice and potatoes - and it's going ok so far.

Hope everyone is well!

I had to catch up on posts since July so it’s taken me a while!

Nice to see you are back around Kwala!

I finally had some movement! Struggling with all the excess skin holding water and stopping the scales moving however I am now 223.2lbs (15stone 13.8lbs) - finally under 16 stone!!!

Total loss is 219.8lbs having started at 443.

Looks like skin removal surgery for arms and belly is Nov 28th which should get the next 21lbs off 😂🙈 and he reckons my legs are at least another 10-14 after that!

much luck for the surgery, you deserve the very best outcome, you've worked so hard :)

I'm slinking back in, having just about got back down to where I was at the start of the year - which was a good stone over where I usually sit and two over where I ought to be, Currently working with MFP to eat maintenance cals and exercise to burn extra - except I've been struggling with a stubbed and very sore toe for a week now.

Hi all good to see you B-Lass and congratulations on your progress you are inspirational. You have lost almost half of yourself! I bet you feel amazing. And I wish you every luck for your operation. You have got this!!

SarahWoo I hope your ankle is ok?

I am plodding on. Slight 2lb gain but nothing compared to marathon gain last year and back on it so I’m sure it will be off again soon.

I posted a photo of my mum and I on FB for our birthday run I was blown away at the messages as people had seen a full me for the first time in a long time. I still don’t see it myself until I put some different clothes on but photos from my virtual VLM stood next to my friends I thought wow I am shrinking. It is a good feeling and keeps you motivated. Tempted to by a VLM jacket and wondering if a medium would fit but too scared to try. Large I know will be fine.

Just keep ticking along everyone we’re doing amazing so many people have gained during this crazy year every little we’ve managed to lose is a huge win.
