You need to be kind to yourself, MM; now isn't the best time for you to be worrying about losing weight. Just take each day as it comes. The beach sounds like a great idea xx

I'm trying Intermittent Fasting (IF) and it's ok so far. I'm on day 3. I eat between 10:30am and 6:30pm. As that is the busiest part of the day, I've only been having 2 (decent) meals a day and no snacks. I'm on fizzy water in the evening and early morning.

MM I agree with GM take the pressure off and try to do what you can without overly stressing it. Obviously good nutritional food with help you but we don’t always want that when life gets tough. Hope you can reschedule your European trip soon.
While we got to Australia and Hong Kong back in March it was extremely stressful & even though we had a lovely time I did t appreciate how stressful until we got home. I spent a fair bit of time in tears or close to tears. I can’t imagine what I would be like to be overseas now. Enjoy Wales that will be fabulous too.
GM I naturally fast most days unintentionally I often think of doing it intentionally. Good luck.
My cousin came up yesterday and despite all her meals out she lost 2lb!! She said it has encouraged her to choose better, a great start for sure.

It is. I bought her a little planner book and she said she was heading off to do her measurements which the book asked for.. she’s paying £5 a week which I’m saving for her. Got her a little money box that says Glam Fund she will get it back when she’s done. Just hope I can help her.
I had her eldest son (10) out for a virtual race yesterday his little brother (3) wanted to join in. They both enjoyed it but little one was magic he totally loved it.

that photo made me smile loads 😁
Took the paddleboard to the beach and brought it back home without it touching the water - it was too rough for the first attempt on the board.. am grumpy now but Mr Moo got to play with his metal dector and Marvin had a whale of a time running through the water chasing birds and seagulls

Glad it made you smile MM. It was a heart lifting 1/2hr. Joseph wanted to hold my hand saying we run yes Auntie Karen 🥰
Paddleboarding... I don’t blame you we have one on the river and god it’s harder than it looks esp if a boat comes and leaves a wake.
We were restricted how long ours could be so it’s an intermediate board which I didn’t think could make a difference but our fiends have 2 and their wide one is definitely sturdier as my friend found out with their new one and ours is even thinner. Makes me feel less useless 😂

Ours is a wide one as I wanted one i could use in the sea (seeing as we live so close) as well as the canals and rivers. Will try again Monday

Lost 1.5lb this week over the moon.
Got my parents coming for fakeaway chinese tonight. I’ve made:
Egg fried rice Veggie chow mein
King Po Prawns Chicken Satay Salt & Chilli Chicken
I’ve bought spring rolls (oven cook) and we have some prawn crackers.
I’ve only had a poached egg on toast today so I’m not stressing it and I also know exactly what is in it. The kitchen smells amazing.
(Left husband chopping a carrot, onion, pak choi and watching the rice while I have a soak in the bath you’d think I’d asked him to cook all that ^^ he is a good ‘in and does help loads in kitchen but a smile wouldn’t go amiss 😩)
