Trying to find my motivation. A painful left calf, physio booked for Thursday evening.

Hope the physio appointment goes well @wolves1877

Me too @Ness I need to get fitter and lose weight and could do without an injury now.

Touching base with everyone in case I get side-tracked later. I hope that everyone is well, avoiding any seasonal germs and are able to get any muscular niggles sorted out.

I have got the Chelmsford Marathon on 13 October. Missed it for the first time last year when they tweaked the course so it will be interesting to see if it's for the better. So long as it's not raining, it's a nice rolling course out in the countryside. Not expecting anything great having been a bit short of mileage, so probably 5:00 - 5:15 I guess.

Happy racing folks

Lord Fetch I was just wondering (as normal!) if there is a FERC London marathon place this year?

Good evening, all!

I'm targeting short races over the autumn so next is the Fetch mile on October 26th and Tamworth 10k on October 27th. I'm also hoping to get to a few of the Centurion Grand Prix series 5 mile races before building back up to a half marathon next spring.

Hope everyone is enjoying some running despite the horrible weather we've been having!

I'm doing Chester marathon this Sunday. Aiming for < 4 hours, a figure that I miserably failed to even get near to last year. But I am optimistic again!

As Ness says, hope the horrible weather isn't getting in the way too much. It has been depressingly wet.

Good luck for Sunday, @roberton

I have done both the metric and full marathons twice now. Not going back this time but would love to do the metric marathon again some time. Maybe I'll return in a couple of years time to try and get the medal for doing the treble
