um Mar 2024 2:27pm, 31 Mar 2024 8,312 posts	0 um I'm on Canterbury Road as well, 5 miles into it. Zipped through Margate, Westbrook & Westgate and Birchington. Between what used to be The Welcome Inn (in the 1960s) and the petrol garage. And speed traps now. I've been along there many times, from our day trips to the beach at Westbrook, and hols in the caravan site at Quex Park (1960s) and more recently for family Xmas lunches and other occasions at The Smugglers in Birchington since about 2000.
