I'm finally back on the road bike after 6 weeks of using nothing but heavy rentals. I've had a great week so far, nearly 190k done in 4 days, went through CP4 today and I should catch Trouble the Transit tomorrow when I'll get the 40k Garmin badge. If I manage another 70k on Sunday, I'll get the 400k monthly badge for the first time ever. This challenge has definitely motivated me to do more biking - I haven't logged that many bike miles since 1999! If I get another 150k before I head back to Leipzig, I have a cushion on T.t.T. In September, there's the annual "Stadtradeln" competition in Leipzig, 3 weeks of logging as many bike miles for my employer as possible - that will give me another boost. I hope I can make it to the end before T.t.T.
