I managed my fastest parkrun this year and in fact since last November and given how hot it was I think when it’s cooler and might manage even better. Parkrun 29:15 and 5k was 29:09 as course runs long.

September 5k time posted in my race list today. parkrun came in at 33.46 but the course was a bit short so I walked through the finish funnel and then ran a bit extra. Fetch benchmark for 5k was 33.48 so I’ve used that. I got a bit excited thinking I’d beaten my August time, then checked and I was actually 3 seconds slower this time!

Well run lin50 September 5k solo effort 20:04 on usual course but 16 seconds slower than last month. Second quickest of the year. Onwards to October |

Well done I’m aiming for a faster 5k today but I don’t expect a SB as I’m running at work whilst car has MOT so a bendy route with more road crossings! |
