I met Dave A in the Lakes near Dale Head and I think freaked him out because I recognised him in spite of only ever seen his avatar online. Stef is terrible. We meet folk out, have a chat and as we walk away she’ll ask who it was we’d met A few months later, on a support round, I met Lizzy from Oxford who you and Stef were with that day. It was leg 4, she was on her successful attempt, and recognised me when the attempt I was on went past. I wouldn’t have had any idea if she hadn’t said hello.
