Hi, Pix. If you have any spare knitting wool you don’t want (I’m trying to find time to use mine up with this too) .... An ex colleague has emailed me. She has a friend who is trying to help an orphanage in Malawi. It is looking for knitted or crocheted squares in double knit 8 x 8 to make up blankets.
She is also asking for pillowcases (even faded ones) to make shift dresses for the little girls (duvet covers make shift dresses for the older girls) and for old headscarves. Just thought I’d be cheeky and ask because they’re not needed til beginning of March and we’re hopefully going to catch up mid February. Please ignore this if you don’t have anything but just in case. ;) x

That sounds great. Thanks, Pix. If they’re smaller, I could always crochet a border to get them to the right size. :)

".... This month, each of you must get rid of one thing on the first day. On the second, two things. Three items on the third. So forth, and so on. Anything can go! Clothes, furniture, electronics, tools, decorations, etc. Donate, sell, or trash. Whatever you do, each material possession must be out of your house—and out of your life—by midnight each day."
