Well played Iaincr. That's twice today I've taken my eyes of an advancing knight and got myself in a mess. -10 down and there was no point in wasting time playing it out.

Thanks Weath, I sensed you were not fully engaged and the sneaky horse will always try and take advantage!

Just drawn from a lost position in my 2nd match vs the Alpha Female serenity match. It tells me I should have won (which I see I could have), but to be honest, you can see why I accepted the draw - would have taken very accurate and painstaking play (Queen Honeybee had a pawn on the 7th rank and one on the 6th), I got a rook up but didn't see how I could avoid a quick death - although to be fair I had to play very accurately to get there.
And my first brilliant move to go from being almost a queen down to a rook up. Yay.
So pleased, a little disappointed, but 2 days ago I'd given up on that and was close to resigning and tried one last attack, with a pawn and rook which turned the game.

Aaarrgh. I've just had a look at the analysis from my last match verses Fetch. At the point I gave up my queen I went from M4 for black (me) - to 18.4 white...Pay more attention. Now time to work out where the M4 was!

Ok - so what is the brilliant move here...that enabled me to draw (but I should have won after I made it)

That was a tremendously exciting game you had there against AFS - thought you were either getting 2 more queens or checkmated!
