I would avoid Ardvreck Castle though. It does get mobbed and it's not the most impressive castle you will see.

Just as I get all my maps/places of interest etc sorted we get another curve ball.

Our dog sitter can't have the dog for the period we had booked due to a family funeral, so we would have to come back from France 2 days early.

I think we are going back to our original plans (which I haven't cancelled or changed) and will take the dog to France for the 4 weeks. He is so much better in himself since he has come off all the medication. Talk about confusing and changing constantly but we were only changing as the dog was too poorly

If you can take your dog and have the longer holiday that is great. Hope doggie continues to be well. Sounds like it was meant to be this way. Have a fabulous time.

Well that was nearly a disaster had friends round last night & I woke up full of cold. We thought we’ll head up about tea time but I feel so wiped I rang and asked if there was any chance to change date to tomorrow

No booking so opened my email to get reference number and realised I’d booked for next Saturday not this one 🤣 all sorted we’ll go tomorrow instead when hopefully I feel more human.

I’m sitting in the van right now with Steppie. We’re in Glentress at a MTB event. It’s ace having the Moho for stuff like this.

Narrowing down our search for a motorhome slowly.

Must have is a drop down bed. One that comes from the roof and we can leave made up all day. I refuse to have to convert a seating area to a bed and back twice per day. That's one thing we want away from. We also don't want to waste space having a fixed bed.

Would really like 2 sitting areas. One for during the day, dining, board games, study, route planning. Then another at the back as the comfortable evening lounge.

Some of the swifts have this set up and the rollerteam 747 has it.
