I see them on most of visits to the Drowse, although when it’s running even medium high there are not many exposed rocks for them to land on. I suppose they could take themselves off to the edge of the lough then- or do they only like running water?

I must take a look by the stream and river. Until following this thread I was unaware of Dippers. I think I have watched them, without knowing what they are. Funny things!

Shades
I did see a blackbird this morning with a lot of white feathers on one wing. I knew these blackbirds with white patches existed but first time I've seen one.
