J2R 6 Jan 2:38pm, 6 Jan 2025 5,761 posts	0 J2R Just looked out of my study window and saw a sparrowhawk hit a collared dove mid-flight in my garden. Feathers everywhere but I think the dove got away. All happened very fast.

Ness 6 Jan 4:53pm, 6 Jan 2025 47,477 posts	0 Ness I'd imagine it would, J2R. I was in my kitchen earlier and noticed there were about half a dozen goldfinches and an assortment of sparrows and great tits on my back garden bird feeder. It was very busy out there!
