oi you
Ah yes, knowing where I am might be handy. It’s Folkestone, SE Kent coast, so quite busy shipping lanes a few miles out, but quiet enough in-shore. The water is cleaner now than it's even been. Back to the same spot today to see 1 seal, several Grebe & Guillemots and any number of gulls.

HB - was that at the aquadrome (the venue of the parkrun, remember those?!)? I'm always on the look out for localish spots to go on the hunt for an otter sighting. Thanks!

WW - yes - she said it was where the canal met the river. It’s an amazing place, she’s been there 6 weeks and seen both woodpeckers, kingfisher, tree creeper, parakeets, siskins, red crested pochard, red breasted merganser, wood duck and water rail

Our best garden spot is a Hawfinch! We both saw it too so it definitely happened 🤣
